Frequently Asked Questions
Who can participate?
We are accepting submissions from any Black folks who would like to share a reproductive experience with us such as pregnancy, birth, sexual health or lactation. Health care providers, doulas and other allied professionals of any race are also encouraged to complete the provider version of the survey. If you fall into both categories, please complete the survey twice, once from each perspective. We are only accepting survey submissions from those sharing an experience that happened in Canada.
What will you do next?
We plan to use the data from the survey to create resources, workshops and learning opportunities for both Black birthing people and health care providers.

How can I help?
If you do not meet the requirements for the survey, please share our work with your networks, follow us on social media and commit to improving the lives of Black folks in Canada. We are also available for educational opportunities such as trainings, workshops and panels.
Is this only in Ontario?
While the co-founders of the project are based in Ontario, we are collecting stories from everyone who has an experience to share in Canada.
