Frequently Asked Questions
Who can participate?
We are accepting submissions form any Black folks who would like to share a reproductive experience with us such as pregnancy, birth, sexual health or lactation. Health care providers, doulas and other allied professionals of any race are also encouraged to complete the provider version of the survey. If you fall into both categories, please complete the survey twice, once from each prospective. We are only accepting survey submissions from those sharing an experience that happened in Canada.
What will you do next?
We are going to be taking the data from the survey and turning the information into resources, workshops and learning opportunities for both Black birthing people and health care providers.

How can I help?
If you do not qualify to participate in the project, please share our work with your networks, hire us for speaking engagements or workshops, and commit to improving the lives of Black folks in Canada.
Is this only in Ontario?
While the co-founders of the project are based in Ontario, we are collecting stories from everyone who has the experience to share in Canada.
